Merry Christmas. Yuletide blessings and all that cool stuff. If this is your first holiday without a particular loved one, I wish you an extra measure of peace and strength.
Third Son got in early last week from his Ohio job. It’s always good to have him around. Grandson seems especially excited to spend time with him.
We’re doing most of our gift exchange today, though Number Two Son is visiting his in-laws today and won’t be back until tomorrow. Oldest Son couldn’t make it down, either. We’ll make do though.
Words For The Week
“The wrinkles only go where the smiles have been.”
“Go fast enough to get there, but slow enough to see.”
“I have always looked at life as a voyage, mostly wonderful, sometimes frightening. In my family and friends I have discovered treasure more valuable than gold.”
“Yesterday is over my shoulder, so I can’t look back for too long. There’s just too much to see waiting in front of me, and I know that I just can’t go wrong.”
“Songwriters write songs, but they really belong to the listener.”
– Jimmy Buffett, born December 25, 1946
