Time to reveal the new cover for The Sad Girl!
The one or two regular visitors here know that back in August, I was picked up by Gravity Books, an imprint of Booktrope. They’re re-releasing The Sad Girl, and that required a new cover.

I chose Yosbe Calma based on some of her other designs. She’s done a lot of Gravity covers, and understands the Gravity focus. So we talked about the story, and kicked around some ideas, and here’s what we ended up with.
I think it’s awesome. I love the dark tone of the cover. The story really is rather dark, or at least about a dark topic, and her cover really captures that very well.
